Working with Out-of-Network Benefits: We recognize that many of our patients wish to utilize their insurance benefits for their procedures. While our clinic does not contract directly with any insurance companies, we are experienced in working with out-of-network insurance benefits.

 

Here’s how it works:

• Pre-Authorization Submission: Our team will submit the necessary codes to your insurance company for pre-authorization of your planned procedures with Dr. Mayer.

• Upfront Payment: Once your procedure is pre-authorized, you will pay the balance for your surgery upfront.

• Insurance Billing: After your payment, we take on the task of billing your insurance company. Any reimbursements or payments from the insurance will be made payable to you.

Letters of Agreement with Supplemental Insurance Plans:

For those who have supplemental insurance plans through their employer, we offer additional support:

• If your employer’s supplemental insurance plan covers procedures like the ones offered by Dr. Mayer, our team will work directly with your insurance company.

• In this arrangement, you will not be responsible for any fees, including the provider’s fee, anesthesia, and operating room charges.
